Day to Day Repairs

Excluding systems for hot water, heating & gas servicing, Structural or external pipework

Our Grounds Maintenance Worker can carry out most of the minor repairs in-house, which cover the following areas:

  • basic plumbing repairs (leaking pipes, toilets, sinks  & taps, overflows)
  • basic electrical repairs (light fittings, socket outlets, switches)
  • general repairs to external window sills and external doors, including ironmongery
  • general repairs to common parts of buildings
  • reglazing of broken windows, where breakages are not due to damage or neglect by the tenant (a crime number must be sought first before any repair can be carried out)
  • general repairs to fences, enclosure walls and gates
  • basic electrical repairs to communal lighting

LBI Contractors will carry out repairs to entry phone systems, electronic door system, Communal satellite and broken down lifts (contact 0207 527 2000 option 1)

Please note, all handy-person repair requests must be reported first to the Estate Office to book an appointment and determine if it is a repair that is our responsibility or falls within our remit.
